BattleCreek Ranch has been in business for four years. It's a home for rescued horses and farm animals.
The boarders volunteer they're time and love to devote love to the horses they have added to their family. Some of the horses has been adopted by the boarders. Which makes it such a
precious gift to the horses and to families.
The ranch has tons of memories, and we're here to share those memories. We are still making memories.
We've seen what love can do with horses that has been abused. When we get a horse that has been through a
rough life. We work with the horse, showing TLC. With love and devotion, the horse feels he or she can trust
again.
Horses, are great therapy for all ages. That's the reason for the ranch. Years ago, I suffered a massive heart attack.
I was told that I didn't have long to live. Something was missing from my life. During childhood, I spend all my
summers at my grandparents here in Oklahoma. When I came to look at this ranch, the moment I stepped out
of my truck I felt at home. Slowly, this place became my haven. Over the years, horses has come our way.
Each horse has a special place in my heart. I'm still here kicking and screaming...and the horses has a place
to call home.
I couldn't run the ranch without the help of volunteers. Which the Lord has provided. Those volunteers, are friends now. We all share the love of horses and animals together.
The Oklahoma sunsets and sunrise, brings the beauty of the land and the horses. We have barn cats, that are
spoiled rotten. We have a pot-belly piggie....ducks, birds, dogs..... which all is spoiled rotten ....lol
Owning a ranch, we have our moments where we had animals earn their heavenly wings. A page here will
be dedicated in their memory. They're gone, but not forgotten.
There is also a music page...I enjoy singing as a hobby. Our ranch manager JW also loves to sing. We'll be sharing our videos with you.
